Working Title: Chronicles of Agri
Concept Statement: Fantasy and fighting meets farming and friendship in a world only the player can restore to true harmony.
Overview
Genre/Category: Hmm, can it be lots? I don't know. Genres are hard. I guess Adventure RPG mixed with a farming sim plus local co-op?
Concept Creation Process/Area: The concept for Chronicles of Agri stems from me wanting to play a game I could never find. I would come close with things like Stardew Valley, but at the same time, I wanted something like Skyrim with those mechanics. So I have been thinking a long time about how to combine them and what works and doesn't work in different games within those genres, all while playing everything that even vaguely interested me.
Influences: Stardew Valley, Harvest Moon, Story of Seasons, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Dragon Quest Builders 2, Valheim, Viva Pinata.
Audience & Competitive Analysis: 18 & over, competing with games in multiples genres by containing aspects of many different genres. Biggest competitors would be the likes of Stardew Valley and anything along the lines of the Elder Scrolls games.
Game Treatment & Concept Art:
You are the prophesied Whisperer, born of the desperation of the land of Ager as it inches toward death, and the hopes of its slumbering Agri guardians. Only you and your siblings can return the desolation of Ager to the prosperity it once knew in the times of the Agri of Old and reunite the land.
Chronicles of Agri is set in the world of Ager, once a bountiful, flourishing land ruled by the Ancient Agri, the benevolent gods of life.
I don't understand why the pictures are all different sizes! Gah! Also, I've never done pixel art before, so please forgive how bad these are...
